I have added some dry rub recipes below.  The recipes below can be changed to suit your taste.  For instance, substitute smoked paprika for paprika to add more smoke flavor, and add more cayenne pepper to add more spice.


PORK DRY RUB
1/2 cup kosher salt
1/2 cup ground black pepper
1/2 cup chili powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup paprika
1/2 cup granulated garlic
1 tablespoon dry mustard
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper

POULTRY DRY RUB
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon paprika

BEEF RIB/BRISKET RUB
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 tablespoon cumin

Mix a tablespoon of any of the following additional ingredients to flavor to your taste:
Cumin
Chili powder oregano
Thyme
Coriander
Peppercorn
Rosemary
Sage
